Lamb leg injury

Hi everyone this is my first post. I have a ewe who had a lamb 3 days ago and I think it’s back leg is either dislocated or broken very high up, either that or maybe just super wonky leg from being crammed inside. It was a ewe lambs first time lambing and the lamb is very small but is doing good otherwise. I know it has some kind of pain in that leg because he doesn’t like to put weight on it and often sleeps standing up. What’s everyone’s thoughts? I will attach a photo to this as well can’t seem to figure out how to attach a video tho

Other than a vet X-ray, we're guessing at this.

Have you tried feeling & gently moving the leg? If so, any reaction? Gently bending at knee, then at hip -- as it would naturally move to walk.

Does the leg appear to go forward at the knee point, rather than stay as one on right? If so, suspect weak tendons -- which usually correct as they walk.

Those are my first thoughts for some possible reasons. Also, could have been stepped on.

I agree. Hard to do an internet diagnosis. It could be one of several things as @Mini Horses pointed out.

I felt her leg and it seems to feel the same as the left leg, maybe slightly swollen in the joint above the hock. No different reaction to me feeling either leg. It’s like the joint above the hock(don’t remember what it’s called) bends outwards and wobbles when she tries to put weight on it. She is super small and quiet but otherwise doing fine!

Sounds like a weak tendon. Is it improving?

IF mine, I'd vet wrap for a few days but can't explain ... Will try. Wrap above the hock & below covering the front of the hock as you move up, then down, leaving back point open for limited movement, but movement. She should walk better & more, strengthening it.

Not too tight but secure....circulation. Change about every couple days. Still PT.
