I have fleas in the house... just noticed them a couple days ago... had used a topical on Silkie... the spayed female ... sister to the long haired brother that got killed on the road a few weeks ago. But, she is royally ticked off because I got the kittens from the farm recently.. so she has been coming out from under the one trailer over near the poultry pens, when I take feed/water out in the mornings... I had to carry her to the house and inside, yesterday. Plus, I have not caught the other feral cat that was sneaking in the house... so she might have gotten them from "it"... I am pretty sure it is another male.... now with the kittens, it is near impossible to set the trap because they are into everything. And although they are fed out in the shed... they wind up on the porch into the boxes and stuff all the time...
I will use a "bomb" one day I am going to be going to test.... be gone for hours... but in the meantime, I get the flea powder that you sprinkle on the rugs and floors, Leave for an hour or more, then vacuum up. It kills the fleas and also is supposed to kill the eggs in the rugs... usually have to do it a few times... to make sure they all come in contact with it... It smells nice, and I have always had very good luck with using it.
Not too bloaty so guessing it happened last night. No marks laying down in barn area. Membranes were really white but I'm not sure if that changes after death. The tamer adult ewes all have nice pink eyelids. I will have Alijah help me catch and work the sheep. The other wether will get a jab of antibiotics and wormer just in case.
Athena has been with us for a month so she is now old enough for the kitten flea shampoo. She really needed it, so many fleas. 
I also bathed Newton in flea shampoo though he has topical.
