This randomly popped up in my LinkedIn feed. Previous job promoted the baby engineer that graduated in March 2024 and was hire in June as a Project Engineer to my old role. I guess they couldn't find anyone willing to work for their cheap ass pay.

His LinkedIn description is a hoot.

So, is this a promotion of his "wonderfulness" to find a new job???? Tooting your own horn or something???? Sounds like a lot of general BS and nothing of substance. Sure does not tell me what all they can really do... there are lots of jobs with "alphabet letters"..... and sure is alot of gobbledy gook about designing various internal developments that basically is nothing more than scheduling routine maintenance if I read it halfway right...

How's the "getting house ready to sell" coming along??? I know you have to want to get things all in one place again... and be with the family all the time.... Has DH got things in place to transfer??? That would be a big worry off y'alls stress....
Hope work is still going good for you.... Have you found a place to go??? Can't remember if you decided on one or still looking....

Ow... apparently when you loose 30lbs, your feet get skinnier. I have blisters and everything aches. I was up at 4:30am and at work at 5am. On my feet all day long for a 12.5hr natural gas repair project.

Supplier was shutting down for 4hrs so we took advantage to move my project from weekend overtime hours. My inspections last month found ~250ft of 1970s era piping that was holding together by a hope and a prayer. Apparently past inspections (that I couldn't find results of) didn't include Xrays of the wrapped sections, MAJOR MISS. Elbow was pitted from 0.154in to 0.09in under wrapping. The only reason it hadn't failed was header was only at 40PSIG.

Annoying delays but natural gas was back online at 3:53pm and boiler running at 4:35pm. Not bad when I said 3-4pm for turnover back to ops.
