we need to figure out how much we are willing to drop price to get it moved. At the same time, Alijah's boss gave a definitive NO on 100% remote. So he's applied for interdepartment positions as well as other companies in Houston.
I think, and I'm no expert, that the housing market will rally. The feds will lower the interest rate again in December, making more homes affordable. I do KNOW that markets are different from state to state, region to region.
Out here in my town, Vancouver WA, the demand outweighs the availability of the reasonable supply. My co volunteer at the Monday afternoon food bank had to quit two weeks ago. She's a Realtor and she is slammed - from people wanting to move here; old folks down sizing; and new homes being built like mad.
On Sunday, I picked up my yearly Costco apple pie from my Mortgage broker, who I used 3.5 years ago. I asked her about biz and she said its really picking up, as rates are slowing downshifting. She sees alot of newcomers in the area here in SW Washington.
