I'm 70. Use it or lose it. A little sore from cutting firewood with my battery chainsaw yesterday, but it's good to do something that makes me sore. The firewood is not for me, it's for neighbors.
Doing the prep work for this ice storm about to hit, it just adds loads of work to daily chores. That is also good for me, use it or lose it.
I agree! Yesterday my son offered to do my chicken chores for me, but I told him I like to get outside.

That big boer doe -- looked like a litter coming -- had a single!!! 🤔🤣 A huge doeling. I told her earlier that a storm was coming! Guess she'd already seen the weather report. Traditional boer white bod/brown head. Full boer tho, so hoping she grows well & I'll keep her. Too late for pics. Jugged them....more tomorrow.

Milked Emma tonight. Pulled some pressure off. I had gotten a pint of colostrum, then a pint of next day milk....it's about full colostrum. Tonight's is still sticky. But never know when I might have a kid who needs it. She's got a huge bag. Full boer but a bag like dairy. They don't produce as long tho. They're built to feed heavy for a short while, then wean them.

She's easy to handle, just hold her collar and walk along. Comes when I call. Sadly, she still calls for her kid. 😔
