Mini llamas?

With only 3/4 of an acre a mini-llama would be the only way I could have one. We're not seriously considering it. Much more likely to do something like that after we're able to move to a larger property. Good to have the information though, thanks! I personally prefer llamas over alpacas just in terms of looks.

The only problem with the mini llamas is that they wouldn't have the weight to stomp a predator. A full size llama could stomp a coyote or dog dead but a mini llama wouldn't have the weight to do that. They certainly could potentially have the instincts though.

Wow, haven't visited this thread in a while!!
I think at this point llamas will only happen when we've got more space. Then we will look for standard size. The minis sure are cute though!

I dont know how much it takes to have mini llamas, you can have 5 llamas on as much land as 1 horse. Llamas only it as much as a goat so, mini llamas would be easyier to house.
