Oh boy, oh boy, oh boy!!!
I still had some leftovers from the Turkey dinner I made after he came back from California. I had quite a bit of cranberry sauce and lots of turkey breast left and found a recipe for Cranberry Chipotle Chicken Enchiladas and OMG They. Are. Amazing!!
I still have jalapeños from garden in freezer so I used those and some of my garlic from this year to make refried beans and made spanish rice.
What. A. Feast!!
I didn’t think TheMan would like the enchiladas because he doesn’t like cranberries but paired with the chipotle peppers they were delicious. He had 4 😂

Tomorrow we go to town for appt at hospital. I think Boone will be happy to get off the ranch for a day. I’m hoping I can walk, as I severely overdid it today and when I went to sit down, I couldn’t do it without screaming. It made the inflammation in my joints totally irrelevant 😳. I’m packed in ice right now, to reduce the swelling. Hopefully a night of rest will allow me to walk unaided, if not, it will be Boone’s first day working with a wheelchair. I know one big problem for him is he will have to walk on my other side. He’s been trained to stay in my right, because that’s the side I need him to anchor me on so I don’t fall.
I guess we will see what tomorrow holds.
At least I accomplished a lot today, as I did all 3 loads of laundry, made 2 loaves of WW bread with FMF, fed rabids, walked down to the trucks to check on Boones vest, vacuumed, finished the embroidery for Kat’s dress, got dinner made, dishes done, kitchen cleaned.
All in all, a great day!

Boone howling cu he hates the drive
OK just putting this out there. Sage - the puppy - hates car rides. She'd howl, whine, scream and get really really worked up. Output from both ends 🤢. I thought I'd tried everything. Seriously - open one window, two, more, every combination. Music, no music, stopping before she'd urp or whatever and get her out. I finally just said NO. Just one word, not screamed, just forceful-ish. She stopped screaming. I followed with "gooooood girl' said low and slow about every mile or so. And amazingly it worked!
Well she still gets car sick (and I totally understand that as I did a lot when I was a kid, still do occasionally) - poor thing looks like she has a case of Newfie drool going. But we're getting through it slowly and no more screaming and carrying on.
