I never had to collect my stud horse, thankfully. I would however, hobble the mares and handle him myself. I had to do a breeding once and no one was around to help. The preacher’s wife happened to stop by and I asked her if she would do me a favor. I locked her in a wood sided pipe stall, wrapped the mare’s lead rope around it twice and asked her to hold on no matter what.
You should have seen her face when that stud horse did his thing!
She was hilarious. She couldn’t waitvto tell her husband “guess what? I watched horses have sex in the barn and I helped!” 😂

Remembering years past- we had a red dobie female that adored the boys…all children actually. I babysat an infant for a couple that worked at the prison. He walked in the house once and reached to pick up the baby. I ran in to find him on his back with Macy pinning him there. The baby was still safely in her bassinet. I had already warned him that I had to hand him the baby or she would get upset.
All the kids were up in an oak tree by the road. A neighbor stopped his convertible under it and she went ballistic.
We took her waterskiing with us once, and made a day camp on a little “island” on the lake. The boys were upset with her because she kept dragging them out of the water.
Dogs are amazing critters ❤️

Cancelled Boone’s appt today because I can’t cope with the pain. It keeps getting worse and frankly, I’m terrified because I can’t cope with it. I found some of my old patches that were prescribed for me a few years back. I wouldn’t have made it through today otherwise. This sucks

In my opinion? No, they aren’t really trying to eliminate my pain. Also it’s hard to diagnose what is actually CAUSING it! Is it from the PsA, or RA? the fibro? From my old injuries and surgeries? I think mostly it’s the PsA attacking the tendon sheaths because it’s triggered by barometric pressure (and stress)…but they intentionally underdose with pain meds. They want you barely functional, never comfortable. I used to be on Fentanyl patches. I had a few I didn’t use from back when I had Heath. Combined with the oxy it got me through the night but the hip pain this morning was pretty bad. It originates in my back so even though the joint is messed up (they accidentally MRI’d my left when replacing my right so we know it’s bad. (I’m still trying to wrap my head around the Dr making that mistake.. ) I don’t think he will prescribe the Fentanyl again…

I saw a video last year about pain meds and how the intention is not to help but to make those who need it dependent on them. It was all insurance and pharma based. I made me so mad watching it. It's not about curing, but more creating total dependance and worse.

My sister has numerous health issues, including fibromyalgia and severe allergy to mold. She said the opiods were the only thing that helped bring the pain down to tolerable levels, but they won't prescribe them. She's almost 69, won't be committing armed robbery if she became addicted. It makes me mad, too.

That’s strange because they have had me on Opiods for a long time. I’m not addicted, but I am dependent in the manner that I can’t face the pain I have without them, but I am still in severe enough pain that at times I have no hope

I want to thank you guys for being here for me. It’s hard having no one to talk to or understand. I’m better today than yesterday…was it yesterday? I made it out to the rabbit pen to put kindle box in with brown doe. Boone is as upset with new rooster trying out his crow. Hoping he didn’t do any damage. He was harrassing a loose duck yesterday. I told him off and it went under the deck. Hopefully he realizes it also applies to chickens. He’s still got a lot of puppy in him to trust him around poultry. Next year he’ll do better.
