He likes food! It started with me threatening to shoot out the TV and has gone well frim there. He still watches it all day but he feeds and gets a little done each day, which is more than I can do. I mostly can just fix dinner
Way to go!! You're my kinda people!!
And by the way - fixing dinner, it's a big thing, and fast becoming a lost art. You rock.

Cooking at home! Yeah, so many won't, can't, don't really know how. Sounds strange but it's true -- never learned to cook. 🙄 And to use extras (leftovers 😁) that's beyond comprehension. Food waste is real. Drive thru is real. A home cooked for then is a buffet at Golden Corral . Plus they don't want the clean up.

I was coming out of the bathroom with my bottle of peppermint oil (thank God) when a big fat sp*der ran into a pile of clothes on the floor. I have the world’s worst phobia. I cannot do pics, or be anywhere around them, even seeing the word in print gives me the willies. I had the oil because one was in my new bathtub and I was soaking everything with it after running boiling hot water over the SOB that dared to be in my house. I soaked the floor all around the clothes with the oil, while involuntarily screaming. Boone nearly broke the door down coming to my aid.
Luckily, the oil kept the SOB inside the circle until Randy could come kill it, otherwise I could never sleep in our room again.
Randy told me how to work the cooler (it’s complicated). I went to turn it on like he asked and damn if there wasn’t another one!!
Right now, I have a horrendous tension headache from stressing out about it, Boone is kind enough to keep me company on my peppermint soaked sheets while I figure out how I am going to get dishes done, bread made (the home milled wheat isn’t rising today and I’m hoping my yeast isn’t bad…then make dinner.

He came and found it and smushed it. At least he says he did. He knows I would never sleep in there again…
My finger hasn’t stopped hurting since Boone tore it. I unwrapped it to check. It’s not infected, just unusually painful. Could he have got a nerve? Anyway, slathered on antibiotic ointment and rewrapped it. It’s really hard to make bread, dinner, and do dishes with it, not to mention get dressed. We go to town for pre op tomorrow. I hope Boone is good.
