I did it! I made it to the corral with Boone’s help. I whistled Mister in, tied him up, brushed him off and got Randy to saddle him which was no small thing, with no room to move, several inches of dust on everything etc. I rode him around the pasture in tears, because it felt so amazing to be up there again. The old man is moving off pretty sound for 30. The dogs all played tag and wrestled then Boone suddenly realized where I was. I haven’t ridden since he came I don’t think. He was going to rescue me but I talked him out of it. That would not have gone down well.
I’m resting up today but just knowing I can get out there now and build my strength back. ❤️

Taking a break today because of my activities yesterday. Not in nearly as much pain as we expected so thankful for that. I was watching.Boone play with Gizmo last night. What an incredibly kind creature he is! she climbs up his back and abuses him. She snarls and takes things away, and he enjoys playing with her and he’s just kind and good. He drags the long squeaky snake outside , with her firmly gripping the other end. He lets her win a lot, letting go and flopping over on his back.
I wanted to let Mister in the yard to graze. He (Boone) was playing. When I called him. And said “boone help me, I need your help” He came and positioned himself and steadied me several times, he waited in the corral while I put fly stuff on my horse, and he escorted me back to the deck then lwft me there to go back to playing. He’s so dependable and so effective and willing, it kills me that I can’t use him for public access anymore.

Wow. It’s really alarming to me the way my pain is changing. It feels as though all the little joints in my hands and feet are being pulled apart and the muscles in the rest of my body ache deeply, like when you have a really high fever. I suppose it’s RA and fibromyalgia deciding to both flare simultaneously.
I can do without it.
Today is the Memorial for Charley Kirk. Idk why but his death has affected me profoundly , as if I couldn’t find enough to be sad about. I seem to be much more skilled at recognizing those things than blessings. I need to focus on the blessings more. Even if there is just one. One gift from the hand of God can outshine 1,000 poisonous darts and arrows from the enemy. Just knowing Him can neutralize everything he’s done to me. I’m blown away that the God of all Creation has ever thought of me, even just once. Just…wow.

I'm so sorry that you are dealing with so much pain. Praying for comfort and healing. :hugs

His death has affected every believer. I feel the exact same way. He is our brother in Christ. A fire has been ignited. We need to be in prayer and be bold in our Saviors name and fan those flames. I'm with you... Just... Wow! Our minds cannot comprehend the depths of His love.

Someone said that so many of us are affected and grieved about Charlie Kirk because the Holy Spirit that lives inside every believer has been grieved by Kirk's murder.
Yes, I agree, we are in the family of God and all connected through the Holy Spirit.

Boone’s crate is here. Hoping to get it in the truck and see how he likes it, but Randy’s working in the truck. He removed the back seats and is putting down a plywood base to support the crate. He’s talking about painting the wood, which I hope not as it will take days longer for the paint to dry etc. and is totally unnecessary. I just want to see Boone in it and happy with it
