I think I'll have Pepper do his does tomorrow and get all tired and then I'll do his feet when he's all spent. That will definitely help our relationship.
I'm actually surprised. I know Pepper is older than Pete was but Pete got 6 does in one afternoon and settled 5 of them that August day and the one he didn't was a difficult nubian. Pepper appears to be all talk and meaness, but can't put his money where his mouth is when working (beyond 3), the opposite of Pete. They act like they want it all, but when he got it all...
Anyway, now I've got this creep popping up putting his head up behind the gate, making eye contact any time I go into other barn. And in the dark that IS creepy. He may have to go back after I'm done getting them covered and be put back away as the ND come into heat since he won't behave and let me get out anyone else.
