@Latestarter NE Alabama isn't that far..... We used to go to see DH's mother. That is a good deal on the pigs, hate to see you miss out on it. Maybe the OP would hold some for you until you finish a pasture?

pretty much is awful. search for alpha gal syndrome and read about it. dd almost died before they finally figured out what was wrong with her.

It was terrible at first. My 12 year old son has it too. My awesome wife can make just about anything with fish or poultry now though. I just try to be thankful for what I can eat. Really looking forward to more muscovy on the table.
