I had an appointment earlier today to test my nerve functions still trying to decide which way to go for my neck. I have had more unpleasant tests but I can definitely say that getting shocked for an hour isn't something I could call pleasant.

The Tennessee Bureau of Investigation has been analyzing evidence pertaining to the death of Pauline Pusser (wife of Buford Pusser of Walking Tall fame) for years now. They reported today that if Buford was alive today, there is enough evidence to charge him with the murder of his wife. I would be curious how that news is coming across in his home of McNary County.

Wow! Thats a heck of a story! The movie showed quite a different scenario. Wonder what the motive for murder was?

ETA: the first movie, not the one with The Rock in it.

We worked the ewe lambs that we kept since we are going to put them with the adults in the next few days. They are all a little over 7 months old now which will put them a bit over one year old when they have lamb. There is 5 ewe lambs in this group and while doing data for their paperwork, we discovered that all 5 of them are from one of our first set of ewes or one of her daughters. Of course, it is coincidental, but she was one of all time favorite ewes.

Teresa sent me pictures of the biggest ewes, at 7 months old, they already look full grown! Big beautiful girls!

You have got the lamb raising ...up to nice healthy breeding candidates, down to a science. That is great. Anyone that buys your "culls" has a great start to some nice genetics too... No wonder that the auction barn guys let others know when you being some in for sale...
Keeping animals out of your favorites, and out of your originals, means that you had, and continue to have, an "EYE" for the right genetics..

Congrats on having found your niche for an enjoyable, and rewarding retirement.

I got steroid shot in my right wrist this afternoon as a result of the nerve function tests I did awhile back. They found some pretty severe Carpal Tunnel Syndrome in both wrists. I'll go back this time next week for the other. It's pretty obvious why they spread them out since right now, my right hand is about useless. It was pretty cool as it was getting done since you can see the image (no idea what that gadget was) and he explained what he was doing. He said as you age, the nerves get "sticky" and they stick to ligaments which he separated with needle as he worked it into the wrist. This is another instance that was far from pleasant but there is already less pain.
