Our main washing machine quit working three weeks ago and it has taken till now to get an appointment for a tech to come out. We still have 5 years left on the warranty but we are too far out for all of the service companies we called. Finally wound up calling Speed Queen and they arranged to get a company to respond to us. We have another washer so it's no big deal but I had no idea when we bought our commercial machine that it would that hard to get service.

Is it a Speed Queen?

@Mike CHS Other than service, how do you like the Speed Queen?

@fuzzi if you don’t mind me asking, what is the price range and are they top or front loaders?
I got a top loader, 1 hp motor (new models have .5hp). Both washer and dryer were about 2k, but I bought them through my trusty local appliance store. I considered it an investment. My previous washer, GE, was grinding gears less than 5 years after purchase.

American made, and it shows. I don't hear them running, SO quiet.

I chose the model with KNOBS. I like knobs.

We have loved it. You don't have all of the restrictions of the others such as load range or water restrictions.

Looks like I might check out the Speed Queen washer... might be needing one in the future... Love The KNOBS.....and a top loader as I want to soak some of these BARN clothes.... and white socks..... I noticed that although I could do a couple loads worth in the laundromat's big washer the other day... my jeans are not as clean looking since I could not soak the cow manure spots...
SIMPLE IS BETTER......

Mine is the TR3, the least expensive, about $1200. As I said, it is an investment since I want something I won't have to replace in 3-5 years, like the GE.
