Welcome to BYH!!
You just got me thinking, witch one is best feed conversion. I am going to check it out. Would be interesting!Maybe so but it's a heck of a lot cheaper!![]()
Welcome to BYH!! You have quite the collection of animals. I only have rabbits, but a friend of mine has chickens, ducks, and Guineas. The Guineas are really annoying, and fight with her rooster. Anyways, what kind of rabbits do you have? Oh, and pictures! We all love pictures!
Here are some pics of our place and animals. We also just got three kittens and we are adopting an Australian Shepherd puppy in January.Welcome from Ohio! Sounds like a busy place, good luck with the plans for a milk goat (or goats, as mentioned they do best with at least two). Looking forward to pictures when you have time.
Welcome to BYH from a neighbor to your south. I am in CA, near Redding but you aren't THAT far away compared to my friends that live on the "wrong coast".I have family in Lebanon, Corvalis, and Newberg so they are all right there in your area but none of them raise any livestock at all, only a few cats. On the other hand I seem to understand chicken math and goat math very well and have enough critters for all of my family. Eight years ago I had 9 chickens and 3 goats and now over 40 of each. I also have Guineas and a few ducks.
You sound like you have a good start to your farm but let me warn you...goats are addictive.![]()
