I've been milking my goats twice a day, but as winter is coming on, it will be harder on me to do that... if I start milking them only once a day, will their milk production decrease? Thanks!

Short answer - yes. I milk a Kinder doe once a day. You lose a little in overall production, but not all that much in the grand scheme of things. And, not being tied to that milk pail twice a day is a really nice pay off.

Yes, it will decrease.
We go to once per day after this weekends State Fair.
We will then milk most of them for a couple of months and then dry them off 3 months before spring kids.
