Did you ever get the heater lit???? I heard it was getting pretty d@#&%* cold there... He//, we got down to 24 last night.... and with the wind chill today it felt like a whopping 26. Getting real cold is not good for any arthuritis....

Yes, I finally got it to light. It never got below 57 inside so wasn’t too bad.

The dogs were rambunctious today. I was a little challenged at getting them to settle with 3 of them here, so after a freeze swirly, they took a short nap. Then each got to take turns at “find it” (Fen and Boone…Gizmo would need another brain cell) and that helped a bunch, although Boone is too type A to let Fen search by himself so he had to ho outside during Fen’s turn.

I was REALLY pleased with them as they did awesome taking turns with the interactive puzzle. One dog would work the puzzle to get out all the treats while the other two watched on sit/stay and down/stay. It was challenging for Giz, but she got through it.

I got Giz up on her crate table and cut her ear fluff and weird pants off. Even butchered up, she looks much better. Now just her tail looks stupid.

Made cranberry walnut sourdough today. Will bake in morning.
My wrists are killing me so putting on braces and going to bed.

It surely was. I woke up hurting everywhere. I might have overdone it just a bit…

Managed to put a pot roast on so the guys could eat after their 14 hr of driving. Using what’s left for beef barley soup tonight. Lamb shanks tomorrow

Honestly gizmo is the most affectionate little dog I’ve ever seen. She has to be touching me, preferably on my lap at all times at all times if there’s no room, she will find somewhere to drape herself over me. She stares into my eyes, tries to sneak kisses keeps one Power wrapped around my arm, so I can’t get away from her. If I don’t pay attention to her, she growls at me and carries on. She’s just hilarious. I don’t know how she managed to get through four years of her life without someone who loved her she sure needed it.
