I'm always so relieved once they're down. Hubs is now cutting dead branches out of our weeping willow.

Yep, works great. We did move our car off of the driveway, just in case it decided to go sideways...lol Pretty sure it wouldn't, Dale knows how to cut the notches so it will land where he wants, but you never know 100%.

I don't know why, but I've always called them Monkey Pod trees. Love the tree - hate the prickly pods.

I loved the tree too. Sad it had to go. If the roots hadn't been lifting the sidewalk, we would have kept it.
