Buford T. Justice

I kept Buford next to me for awhile while we visited, then took him to go play with Sheba. Later we put Ozel in my stock trailer with her blanket, food and water. I put Buford in the holding pen, so they would be together but not together.

I slept until just before 7, they are still asleep. Coffee is ready when they get up.

It’s good to have coffee ready for Buford and his affianced when they get up. I can’t imagine planning starting a family without it….

Day 4

Ridgetop thought it would be a good idea to take the dogs off leash and let them play. I snapped the leash on Buford. When he sees the leash, he always comes to me and sits for me to put the leash on him. Such a good boy.

Are we doing this again? I love you Mom but can I just go to work?

We took both dogs to my front yard. Carson was banished to inside the house.

Oops! I cut her head off!!!!

There she is!!

It went well, Ozel and Buford sniffed each other, wagging tails, highly interested in each other. Ozel peed, Buford sniffed where she peed, then he peed on her pee. Oh, talk about exciting!!! Such courtship!

After awhile, they got bored with each other and laid down. Buford went to work, Ozel went back to the honeymoon suite.

In the afternoon, we took them back to the yard to let them play. Again, they played, peed on top of pee, wagged tails and played some more. Ridgetop and sat on the porch relaxing with a small glass of wine.

Then this happened.

All this careful planning, hard work getting you two together and THIS IS ALL WE GET????
I went and got the bottle. These dang dogs are driving us to DRINKING!

If it was a roaming male, that you absolutely did NOT want near her, she would have already gotten bred!!!!!
