Straight to iced tea even though it is a cool morning. Knee is finally better so can knock out some gardening. A four inch tomato plant costs $5.24. I’m glad I started my own. I am making progress on my komonees (Komondor x Pyrenees) mat removal. He doesn’t think much of being groomed and no matter how carefully I snip the mat he’ll lick that area raw when I’m done. And to paraphrase Gimli from lotr

Not in tune with time today -- tossed and turned most of night. Finally up to overcast. coffee and chores. Then began rounding up fence insulators...and step in electric posts...and rolls of plain wire, rolls of white tape, electric gate hooks and all that stuff divided insulators into piles; nail on, clamp on front & back t-post, top caps, you name it!! Buckets full. At least I have it. Clamped some on posts. Came in to think.

Taking a friend to a Dr apptmt at 2 so not getting a whole lot more done until later since it's noon now. Can't get on a roll and have to quit . This wasn't part of my day when I said I'd transport. Oh, well.

DH paid almost $5 each for 3 tomatoes in 4" pots too. Would have been $5 but got military discount. Even raising your own food is expensive these days.

Well it's Disney day!!!!
I'm sitting in the airport, so far the flight is delayed 24hrs (& counting).
BUT - it's a day or of work & hanging with my best friend

@canesisters have a cup of coffee. I spiked it with kahlua just for you. Are you on the plane yet? What airline are you (not) flying? What a way to start a much anticipated vacation!

Coffee for the rest of us is just plain coffee. I got to go to the CPA today, sign on the dotted line, pay, and taxes will be done. Because my recycled plastic grocery bag is in the shop, I have to drive the truck. I filled it up last week, really wanted to hoard that diesel, but alas, I must drive it. At least the truck can run over a squirrel. I’ll be aiming for the little destructive things.
