Good morning all! We got a little rain yesterday. 50% chance today and 90% chance over night, with about a quarter of an inch. That's a lot for us...lol I'm glad it's not snow. Currently 53°. Not a lot planned today, just plugging away at getting the house put back together. Hubs is playing in a golf tournament. He and his buddy are currently in 1st place. I hope they have a fun day today too.

Time for tea...🫖☕🍯

Have a beautiful day everyone! 💗

Almost done with coffee, then out to the sheep.
DS and DDIL came over for dinner last night. First time for DGS Kit to be here. It was great. He's growing so fast!
The dogs all love him. And Sage the puppy -- well looks to me like they will be best buds and partners in crime
Obi Wan and his first hello.......

That's Sage checking out Kit - I think they are already planning
their own adventures.

My brain is not awake yet. I forgot that I'm trying out a new sourdough recipe today. It's a cinnamon roll sourdough focaccia. I'm trying a couple of different recipes. Our golf club has what they call Hawktoberfest, where the football fans watch the Seahawks play. I go for the fellowship and food. We have a soup and bread competition. Last year I made my cheddar jalapeño sourdough, per my husband's request and I won the bread competition. He asked me to make something with cinnamon this year, so we found a couple of recipes to try. At least a lot of the time will be the dough bulk fermenting. I'll still have plenty of time to clean house, yuck, or not...lol

My levain looks strong and ready to go. I've never used a levain before, but have wanted to try it. This is my homemade controlled temp starter setup.

Seems almost everyone got some rain last night in here. We got a gully washer with 70 plus mph winds, high of 48°F today and the ground is sticking to your boots with the clay. Yeah I'm taking it easy today.
Nah --- I'm the no rain hold out. Sure would like some. We got 1/3 inch back in August (?). Things started to green and now it's back to brown.
