Just getting back home. DH had a belt separate on one of his back tires on his way to work. Of course there was a walk in cooler loaded on the flatbed and the stock trailer in the way. Had to unload it and get everything moved around so I could go pick him up. Got on the road and the brake box is flashing and error. UGH!!! :he :he I think we are running out of paper for our to do list at this point. Goodness. So one rig is in pieces still and waiting on proper parts. Thanks amazon for labeling parts incorrectly and continuing to send the wrong part with the right amazon label. :he:he One truck (the commuter) needs tires all the way around. Can not believe these tires haven't even lasted 3 years. Now my main rig is hooked up to the flatbed with the commuter on it. The stock trailer is stuck back sort of in it's parking spot but not really and a walk in is stacked chaotically on a couple pallets until tomorrow when we can get them stacked back properly. Chaos. Good news is on the long drive back from picking up the commuter I think DH and I have come to some pretty good conclusions on more big stuff that we are going to sell and give away here instead of taking with us. I think we are finally working through it all and figure out a game plan. I hope to be leaving to make the first trip beginning of next week if at all possible. That's what we are shooting for at this point.
Cow's screaming at me to be milked so I guess i'd better go tackle that.
:hugs

WEll, maybe a lambchop?! They're pretty small !!!
Raid the baby food aisle, I'm sure there is some there:lol:

Winter storm warning in effect, expect 6 to 12 inches of snow here, yep we are getting the 12 plus inches due to our elevation. I'm going back in to turn a wrench for the first time in over a month, going to see how much they messed "my" shop up and what room is available to work on my truck there.

2 inches of snow would shut me down. You go on and have your fun.

I've been outside, fed Max, smuggled a gallon baggie of feed to @Margali 's sheep (I have to get past 30 ravenous wolves) and pulled hay for them and the 30 wolves. I fed the rams and new moms with lambs. Sheba wanted to finish her shift and go hang out with Buford so I put her in the middle field. It is foggy, I found my way around in the dark with my headlight and it is fully charged, didn't go out on me. No stupid sheep stuck her head in a cow panel, all good. I'll leave in a little bit, I've had 3 cups of coffee and a B complex vitamin, I'll be wired up today!

Forecast calls for a rain snow mix. I ummm wouldn't really be able to report on how it's been outside because I haven't really made it outside much this week. I think I might've briefly seen the sun Monday, but I don't even remember. I did fall on ice yesterday, luckily with some youth, nothing really hurts. Oh and I got determined to make myself sore and I did a workout for the first time in a year, before dodgeball yesterday. Really fun times, so fun that I decided to not run as much this morning.
Sorry for being super whiny.
Y'all have a fantastic day and be super warm.

It hurts, you just don't notice it until you start getting old... it's cumulative...:gig

In all seriousness, I'm glad you didn't get hurt! :hugs

Good afternoon all!
Woke up sick. Did get some sleep which was nice. Cold house. Sitting under the heated blanket drinking coffee coughing. Will clean the stove when hubby wakes up and get it going again since it's cold already. Have cream out warming if that's possible in the cold house. Should put another pound and a half of butter up when it's done. Got enough put up now to at least last hubby through my first trip to the new house. Although I suspect he won't be cooking much. Freeze drier should be done this evening. Will get that put up and the rice and meat I cooked on trays and in the freezer to freeze. Start a load of chicken stock. Hoping to get one or two loads more in before I leave if possible.
Hope y'all are having a great day!! :hugs

If I could send some of this heat 80*+ up to you I'd be more than happy to swap with the cool stuff.
Hope you're feeling better soon. For what it's worth I picked up the sniffles + cough -- only lasted a few days, hopefully it's the same bug or something even quicker.
And trip to the new home --- OH YEAH! Long time coming, phase 2 - the move, about to begin.
