Good afternoon all!
Woke up sick. Did get some sleep which was nice. Cold house. Sitting under the heated blanket drinking coffee coughing. Will clean the stove when hubby wakes up and get it going again since it's cold already. Have cream out warming if that's possible in the cold house. Should put another pound and a half of butter up when it's done. Got enough put up now to at least last hubby through my first trip to the new house. Although I suspect he won't be cooking much. Freeze drier should be done this evening. Will get that put up and the rice and meat I cooked on trays and in the freezer to freeze. Start a load of chicken stock. Hoping to get one or two loads more in before I leave if possible.

Which is probably why. I was exposed at the bank. The manager who did the wire transfer for the house was very sick. Unfortunately when I made the apt she didn't even inform me. I get sick very easily due to health problems. Timing from exposure to now is perfect for that being the cause. I've been taking stuff to hopefully prevent it but it seems to not have worked. Hopefully I don't get as sick as she was. I tend to avoid people as much as possible this time of year just for this reason.

This was so cool. Geese! The geese were so concerned. The ram pawing at the fallen human, that was sweet. The border collies making sure the cattle didn't trample their human, the Great Pyrenees rushing to his fallen human, horses spooking, then coming back, this was a good video.

My eyes flew open at 3:30 AM again. My eyes are bloodshot, I'm tired. Sitting in a jury box all day makes all of us sore. On our 10 minute breaks we stretch, our backs are sore. My son took water to the horse yesterday, I met him coming out as I was going in, on the dirt road. He had a friend, Keith, with him. Keith decided he wanted to look at the new baby lambs and started to their pen. The Anatolians hit the fence, barking and snarling and he stopped 40 feet away. Keith decided that looking at the lambs was a bad idea.

I've got my headlight charging, don't want it going out on me out in the dark. Gonna guzzle my coffee and get outside to feed so I can get to court.

Got the truck repaired finally after blowing intercooler pipe back in October and the part came in the end of November. Today is the day if it goes the right way that I put the service bed on the truck and then slowly move stuff over onto it, truck crane, compressor, welding machine, etc etc etc.
Still waiting on the blizzard to hit here, should be here this evening with a foot of snow and drifting with 30 mph winds.

Fortunately I slept past the "3:30 monster". And thru crowing, too...until 6:30! Nice. House heating up. I'd never sleep without my heated mattress pad!

Weather warming into balmy mid 40s today. Still below norm but better than past few days. Cold nights still. I have a few things to accomplish today -- refill water troughs for sure. Fill chicken feeders. Take 3 bags of feed from backseat of my car (there since snow). Of course, chores 2x. Make a pot of chili. Fold that load of long johns I dried last night. Think that's my day list + whatever pops up.

Need to get the starter back on the tractor. Been too cold out. Got the new injectors in, took 6 month old starter that died back to dealer for warranty replacement, then snow happened! Still not sure if the injectors solved to fuel flow problem

Awake at 5! lol At least my husband is still sleeping, which is a rare thing.

Took out our vanity last night. We're both home today, so we will be removing the shower, toilet and then take up the flooring. Then we need to make the floor level all the way across, so the shower pan will be at the exact same height as the floor. This is the part that's really getting hard for my husband, getting down and then back up again.

Good Morning!


I have recently discovered that wearing leggings while outside seems to help with my arthritic leg pain at night. I ordered three more pairs yesterday (thank you gift card!) since I appear to have lost weight, being at home full time.

Who would have thunk it?


Possible breakthrough with Caleb, will post about it shortly.
