Fortunately I slept past the "3:30 monster". 😁 And thru crowing, too...until 6:30! Nice. House heating up. I'd never sleep without my heated mattress pad!
We used to have a heated mattress pad, but was too warm for my dh. Might be nice since Caleb's not ready to join me and Debbie 😼 at night. Hmm.
Awake at 5! :barnie lol At least my husband is still sleeping, which is a rare thing.

Took out our vanity last night. We're both home today, so we will be removing the shower, toilet and then take up the flooring. Then we need to make the floor level all the way across, so the shower pan will be at the exact same height as the floor. This is the part that's really getting hard for my husband, getting down and then back up again.

Enjoying my tea as I catch up with what's going on here!

Have a lovely day! 💞
You are blessed to have a capable and willing construction partner. Ron was a steady, loving spouse, and he did try, but was not home repair competent.

Got the truck repaired finally after blowing intercooler pipe back in October and the part came in the end of November. Today is the day if it goes the right way that I put the service bed on the truck and then slowly move stuff over onto it, truck crane, compressor, welding machine, etc etc etc.
Still waiting on the blizzard to hit here, should be here this evening with a foot of snow and drifting with 30 mph winds.
I appreciate you and your updates.
:thumbsup

Jumping in, also on the sick train.
Did not feel good yesterday but wasn't really in a good spot to miss work. Ended up spending time getting myself to a spot where I could miss today. Slept in, got some hot cider, and going to spend most of the day on the couch. I'm sure I'll run eventually and I have some house cleaning that's been put off. Could always start thinking about Christmas shopping too.
Y'all have a fantastic day!

I am blessed, but he drags me right along with him...I don't get to just point my finger. I didn't know how to work the system when I was younger, once he realized I was capable, I'm elbow deep, right alongside him! Lol

Everyone is different, we don't all have the same strengths or capabilities, it sounds like your man was an amazing support for you! :hugs

Ron was a dependable provider. When he was laid off in the early 1980s with two babies and a wife at home he found jobs, any jobs. He shoveled behind cows at a dairy farm, was a roofer's helper, did security guard duty at an industrial park, even worked in the laundry at a diaper service :sick

Good evening all!
Just got home from picking up more hay and grain to get DH through my first trip. Still trying to get out of here towards the beginning of next week. Now he's got more than enough even if I am stranded in an ice storm extra days. Trying to make things as easy on him as possible. Also went by our dairy friends and asked the son if he'd be willing to be on call in case DH has a cow issue that he needs help with. Of course no problems there. It's so awkward not telling everyone yet we are leaving. If the dairy crew finds out the entire planet will know so we are waiting a while to break the news to them. Not to mention they may disown us when they find out. Really don't know what to expect from them on this move. Sad to say.
Time to go out and unload all the feed and start chores. Just wanted to pop on and see how everyone was doing!
Hugs all around! :hugs:hugs:hugs:hugs
