Coffee is ready. I slept till 6. Didn’t do a whole lot yesterday, it was cloudy and gloomy. I need to see some sunshine!

Yep and I got a text last night, the one panel I put up on one side of the roof was flapping. I told him to put screws in it before it rips off, he didn't want to do it so I volunteered and he didn't want me getting up there. So this morning the metal roofing panel is gone. I wonder who is responsible?
That edge wasn't fastened down for the next panel to overlap, but there was 36 screws in it out of a 19' panel.

Well, had TV news on this morn for a change. They say we're going to have 35-40 mph winds & 1-2" of rain tonight. My online predicts 10-15 mph & up to 1" rain. Online has been very accurate, hope so now! Both agree with warmer temps. Like that!

Up at 6 before daylight. Wonderful hot coffee. House smells nice from brewing. And, I slept well, feeling good. I've got a mile long list of "gotta do" for today. Better get to it!!

Mountains are protecting us over here, but I hear Wyoming is dealing with similar crazy winds.
It snowed yesterday, and then somehow got a little warm, and rained. And then froze. It's a really short walk to work for me, but I might put some traction things on my shoes.
Cookie party at lunch today, then basketball after school. And lots of other sweets all around, it's like they're trying to fatten us up or something. Going to be a long one, but break is almost here.

Well, I was going to sleep in this morning, but for some reason hubs had an alarm set on his phone for 4:30. He apologized, then was able to fall back to sleep. I on the other hand tossed & turned and now I'm sitting in the dark saying good morning to all of you! Without any tea, because I don't want to wake anyone else up. Oh well, it's still going to be a fun day!

Ahhhh -- after a bunch of ~maybe slept some nights, busy days, etc I slept until almost 6:30 <GASP> oh God that was good. No winds here, actually way below normal in that category (usually windy-ish to windy all the time here) strange. And oh noooooo forecast high today is 81 --- that's about 15-20 degrees higher than normal.
Trying to get caught up today - house stuff. Stitches come out tomorrow.
OH and Ree is in season - hot to trot time, and Sage just came in about a week ago - when Ree is done being hot to trot, Sage will be. Poor Obi and Zo --- they are crying practically non-stop. 1 more day of Ree in the ready to be followed by about 5 days of Sage. We. Will. Survive.
And Ol' Lumen is having a really hard time of getting around. toddle, toddle, splat, scramble, wobble, repeat. She's an old 13.
