Good morning!
Hubs surprised me for our upcoming anniversary, 41 years. He wants to go someplace warm, so we're taking a week and flying to Florida on the 3rd, our anniversary is the 2nd, but the flights were cheaper after that date. I figured with the remodel we'd go somewhere more local, have a nice dinner, stay the night. We'll try to find an inexpensive fishing charter, that's always a lot of fun and we booked a night at a dinner theater he found, to watch Fiddler on the Roof. Should be a relaxing trip. We'll be in the Fort Myers area, enjoying the Gulf of America...lol We haven't been in that area since Ian hit, they are still rebuilding.

Then back home, put our noses to the grindstone and finish the remodel.

Have a beautiful day!💗
We saw Fiddler on the Roof in dinner theater, about 1979, 1980. Have a wonderful time.

Thank you! I've wanted to see it in theater for a very long time. This place has good reviews on their performances, so I'm really excited.
I miss high school plays. They were often unintentionally hilarious because of the backstories of the cast. My class also had a lot of class clowns which meant reinterpretations of the script were highly likely. Highly ;) . Firearms provided the finale of China Grove at a choir recital after it was decided to change the playlist. Without discussing it with faculty. Alternate rehearsals were arranged and an audience expecting old cowboy tunes and the school fight song got Three Dog Night, Guess Who, the Beatles and the Doobie Brothers. Someone instigated that. No one we know.
Have a wonderful time at Fiddler and pardon my yammering on. I’m nervous about the weather. Ready though.

Hilarious, sounds like a fun group...lol

Thank you! 💗

When my husband was in high school his sisters played in the school orchestra. They did the Oliver musical and Leonard Nimoy played Fagan. That was 1974 in Moses Lake WA. Kind of mind boggling that he'd perform in a small town like that.

Praying the weather isn't as bad as they're calling for.

We also saw Man of La Mancha, and The Music Man at the same place, Coachlight Dinner Theater, somewhere in Connecticut.

Good morning everyone :celebrate it's coffee time!

Today will be everyone's "concern" about the unknown -- the dastardly snow storm that's seemingly hitting everyone! Wow. A doozy predicted. The suggestions of way more, snow? Ice? Sleet? than any want are upsetting. How much, how long, power out, locations closed down, are we prepared???? Yeah it's totally annoying! 😖

It's still prepare as you can, help as you can, pray, then wait and see 😳🥶❄️🥶 Reading preparedness of others helps me check for things I may not have thought about. Many of us have a few days to do last minute things -- don't waste it. Do them. Got a family member, neighbor or friend who might "need" something? Reach out. 🥰

My area rarely gets the amount of snow predicted -- if it happens, 6" shuts us down. Impact lasts well beyond the actual event. Consider your own locations road clearing abilities.
Preparing

Changed batteries in all my flashlights. One of my Maglites is ruined, can't get the batteries out. I think they melded to the inside. It was a nice 3 D cell type, too.

Removed leaking batteries from my transistor radio, dusted compartment with baking soda, wiped out, put in fresh batteries. It works!

Filled seven gallon jugs with filtered water.

I need to check the powerbanks next.

This summer I went through my crate of flashlights. It was annoying to see some expensive ones that I couldn't get to work.

One, I can NOT unscrew! I even had the kids try. It is like the cap got welded on.
