Coffee anyone ?

Woke up at 3:30. Have a full day today, could have used the extra sleep. I still have my Carharts draped over a chair. wednesday it rained all day and was cold,I never got dressed. I slopped around all day in pants I would not wear anywhere and a tshirt. Just put the Carharts on over that to go outside. Got to be at the hospital at 8:00 this morning to pre register and then come home and take Little Ringo to the Emory auction. It's tomorrow, but we will be going to the memorial service for a neighbor.

27 degrees to start the day... HEY... I keep saying it is still winter... and it IS... officially it is not spring until next Friday the 20th.... and March has ALWAYS been a fickle month... the rain turning to serious snow yesterday was reminder to not get ahead of ourselves with liking these TOO WARM temps in the 70's and 80's....
Got right back into the flannel lined jeans yesterday aft to do chores... will be wearing them today to go test... Barns are not like climate controlled houses... either cold or too hot....

Heavy frost everywhere this morning.

Yesterday I dropped off my old Camry for an oil change, inspection. The garage owner didn't call to tell me it was ready. When I called this morning he said everything was done except the inspection...the government website was down, and won't be available for inspection info until Monday. Lovely. He said I can leave the Camry there, or bring it back on Monday. I chose the former.

37 this morning. We'll have rain off and on through tomorrow, then it starts to clear up on Sunday. Daughter & sil are coming down this evening. They want to help us with some of the stuff we've got going on...💗
Need to get moving, baking bread today, cleaning house and helping hubs as needed. Pretty much a normal day...lol

Terminix is here for a seal up on the house. We had a couple of rats and a couple of bats in the attic. I said nix on the hemorrhagic baits which I think annoyed the technician. “Billy” as in Billy the exterminator, is a nice enough guy. His sidekick has more facial piercings than I have ever seen on anyone ever. Ears, nostrils bridge of nose, cheeks and honestly I dare not speculate where else. A razor blade dangles cheerily from his right ear, as does an assortment of other hardware. Moses took an instant dislike and has barked for 45 minutes straight. I’m sitting next to him thinking he would calm down. He has, in fact, calmed UP. (an obscure sci fi quote from Stargate SG1). Hubbs (in the throes of a terrible head cold) keeps changing his mind about traps/no traps and the bait stations. He wants them because he thinks the dog will simply vomit anything it absorbs from a scavenged (ew I know but Sophie…) rat. I don’t want to chance it. Especially since Billy wouldn’t be pinned down on the precise bait and antidotes. Now they’re gone yay. It was a pleasant enough morning to be outside. Below Moses takes a break from barking and Lamb’s Lawn Service was employed for some edging.

This article actually contains PLANTING INSTRUCTIONS. Then a few paragraphs down, are instructions on how to control it. Why would anyone want to plant this in the first place? :th
One word...............
Cityfolk (or maybe that should be two words?) and all the songs, poems etc that talk of tumbleweeds. Makes them sound good :ep
