Good afternoon all!

First tornado warning at home today since we've owned the place. That was wild. Watched the cameras. I've never seen clouds move like that. First one direction then just shift and start moving another direction. Very dark clouds. If not for the danger part it was really beautiful. It hailed for a minute too. Some bigger hail. Nothing I've ever seen in size in CA before. Enough of the smaller stuff to make the house roof white. Still got a lot of learning to do. We're back in a watch again for another couple hours. Tonight our dear friends in KY are in a more dangerous path. Will be watching their area really close tonight.
Treating the two newest graft calves. Of course they are scouring. The tiny one is the one had is scouring pretty bad and doesn't feel good. The other seems uneffected but has a little looser than I'd like. Really hoping to get them both over this very soon. The jersey heifer STILL hasn't calved. I can not believe how she looks and hasn't started. She's holding her calf hostage. Give it up already! I need to get back to moving!

I guess I should be more patient. I can't leave now because of the tax apt.

Wouldn't make it back in time.
Went to a wild game fundraiser last night at a friends church. It was a lot of fun. Got to hang out with the dairy crew. Held the new baby. He's already 2 month old already. He slept in my arms for over an hour. I about died. He is so precious. Such a blessing. Food was eh but the company was a lot of fun. The other dairy kids are such a joy to be around too. I'm not a big "kids" person but I truly enjoy those kids. They are being raised like we were. They are caring, respectful and helpful. And they do it on their own for the most part. They are still kids but even at 2 years old the now 2nd youngest is already trying to help move cows and milk. It's so fun to watch them growing up. I'm truly going to miss them.
Enjoying my first cup of coffee for the day. Have a whopper headache. I don't normally get allergies but I think something is getting me right now. My sinuses are plugged and occasionally running. Don't feel sick so thinking maybe I've developed allergies. Hoping coffee will help a bit. Need to go out and see why one of the hotwire's is down. Probably a dairy cow did something silly. Putting it off to drink coffee and watch the weather live stream.
It's currently 90* outside. Crazy weather. Grass is looking like it wants to start dying already. That was quick. Hard to believe it's storming at home yet a heat wave here.

DH should be up soon. Glad he's slept this long. Weekends over. Time to get back to the grind.
Everyone in the path of these storms please stay safe! If anyone is in a path of a tornado and can post safely from their shelter please do and we'll pray for you.
Y'all have a fantastic evening/night!
