Coffee anyone ?

Coffee is ready. Got to get moving early, leave here a little before 8, to pick up my sister in law and take her to therapy. Then pick up her groceries, take her home. I have a ladies lunch today at 1, MRI at 2:45 on my lower back. Yeah, from hurting my back February 2. Maybe the pinched nerve will show up and this new clinic I'm going to offers chiropractic treatment, and they can adjust my spine. All this has taken awhile and I'd hate to think I could've been in pain all this time. Changing my main doctor, has 3 nurse practioners and I'm seeing one of them. Doctors get a bunch of PA's or NP's and can see more patients. And it's STILL hard to "get in" to see a "doctor" or one of his minions.

@fuzzi I'm glad you are feeling better.
@Blue Sky I favor homeopathy also.

I hope you can get the treatment you need for your back and you like your new Dr.

Have a safe day!

Good morning all! I've been awake since before 4am. Which is 2am when I'm at home... sigh. We're at a hotel with everyone, so I'm kind of stuck in bed...lol Our grandson is in our room, I think he woke me up, thankfully he finally fell back to sleep. Took the littles swimming yesterday. Today we are taking them to a children's museum. Should be a lot fun.

Have a lovely day all. 💗

Coldish this morn, again. But they say low 70s later & warming over the next week. I'm ready to welcome that trend. Just getting to second cup. Today I have a slower day, less work hr project at a close store, so relaxing, sorta. Had leftovers from last night dinner for breakfast. Started DW. Just came in from chores and egg collecting -- didn't do that last night. There will be more tonight, after work. Anyway, just puttering along, will go to work 10-11 and be home 3-4. Short day...but working tmrw, so just easing along today. That's restful.

Grass is doing fantastic and I appreciate less feed, less hay & less work for chores. Goats are in good body. Kids are growing great. Grass makes for plenty of milk. Still have a Boer doe to kid. Pretty sure that's it for a while. Checked her this morn -- bagging well but not tight. Won't be long tho.

Time to shower & dress. Hope everyone has a great day!! :frow

Thank you.

I generally like the APP/mid-level providers. They tend to listen better, and give you more attention than the MDs. In my experience. I hope they treat you well.

Morning all. Yesterday I found a nest of thirty eggs hidden in the barn. This does not reckon up with the number of hens I have or their access to that area. Hubbs opined that the ewe the rooster was breeding (crazy bird is still doing that) may have laid them. :lol:Regardless they’re older than dirt and I may need a hazmat suit when removing them. Yuck. Duelling forecasts for rain in the next few days. Yes. No. Some. Lots. Linessa Farms had a very good article on bloat. I’ve never had much trouble with it but always good to know things. Rescued a baby bunny from Vala. It will probably thank me by visiting my garden later. Time to get after those eggs. :sick Have a good day everyone.

Gas - I had to get gas yesterday. I knew it was ugly so I took pics....
This is not bad for a regular gas station - there are way worse ones but this is in out little town...

Then there's the rez -- just down the road from the last one.. and where I get gas.... (that top number is 4.99 (fence post makes it look way better )

Heavy fog this morning, cool start 57 going to 73.

We got gas at Costco in Portland east. Diesel was $6.10, supreme (my car) was $5.49 and regular was $4.99.

Its more expensive across the river in Vancouver, where we live.

We were down there at OSHU for an oncology appt. Since hubs has had cancer (Uveal melanoma back of eyeball), he now transitions to regular oncology. Every six months he'll get an ultrasound of his liver and an office visit. After 5 years of this, we got to once a year. By 10 years, when he's 82, he will get an all clear if nothing ever develops in his liver. That seems like such a long time away!!

Watch out for the ethanol increase to 15% coming up in May. Retailers are supposed to leave a 10% option available, but apparently are applying it on the higher priced premium.

This is going to damage a lot of vehicles/equipment. Nothing good comes from this. Of course my main rig takes premium.
