Coffee anyone ?

It's been lovely weather & I've done little beyond resting lazily. In fact, I'm considering staying off work tomorrow, too. Same weather but some things need my attention, after my walk about brought that to light 😵‍💫 It'll be fine, work wise. Just tooooo many hrs last week to be fun. It wore me out, even mentally.

Did the few things on my list, except make quiche. Decided that could happen in the morning. It's a touch chilly after overnight temps, so the oven on will be good. Besides, it'll be a nice breakfast with my coffee....and more for the rest of the week!

Same here. It seems like around here when enough folks start to notice we'll get a week of almost normal, then back to blazing hot (and btw a lot of chem trials or whatever you want to call them - like a sky full). Then nothing totally clear when things are closer to normal.
Yeah - the fire season will probably be brutal this year. Snakes are already way out of whack in counts here (another big one today but it got away  :( before it could be dealt with).
Last thursday morning around 4:30am the crisscrossing in the sky was really thick. Friday it started storming abnormally. Nothing to see here.
Our neighbor is a fed who works with fish and he says the fish are a month and a half ahead of normal. It's going to be a bad rest of the year here for sure. Even our trees don't have their full leaves yet but are done blooming already. That's something we've not seen before here.

Was looking at our weather and then pulled the national Drought monitor up... I did not realize that NC was nearly all in severe drought and some extreme drought conditions... and the southern part of GA and most of FL is in extreme and exceptional drought status... For an area that usually gets alot of rain, frequent showers and such... that is really bad for their whole ecosystem.
This lack of water is very troubling.

Yes, very dry here. I've not planted vegetable seeds, yet. It's been my experience that they don't sprout or grow well unless there's some rainfall.

I'd be curious to hear about places that aren't in a drought. I don't really think there are many. The wildfire season is going to be bad this year.

We got rain yesterday. Chance for snow pretty much all week. Should be cooler too, high is 42 today. Closer to normal for this time of year here.
Need to go get some coffee and head into work. If the weather's decent, I'll bike after work. If it's not, I'll come home and get to bed at a decent time.
Y'all have a great day, hope everyone else gets some moisture too.
