Here is a link to my fence thread and it includes a link to our fence building in Lindale. In Lindale, mistakes were made, comments given and corrected as we went along. So dog went right under...but it was a.porton of poly wire. She is longer hair maybe the problem too? So next step change Bottom line to metal...

Sorry but single lines wire electric fencing is not designed to keep in dogs... unless you basically have it on the ground and every 3-4 inches where they HAVE to touch it with their nose... electric netting or physical woven wire fencing of some kind is what dogs need. Good luck with that...

My sympathies with the fence woes. It can be so frustrating but once you hit that 'magic' combination for your place it is such a feeling of accomplishment!
