We were making a batch of my Sweet and Spicy sauce and thought to add it to your thread rather than start another. We actually get requests to have this sauce available when we smoke pork for an event.

This is a sweeter, slightly thicker version of a traditional South Carolina sauce.

Yield: about 2 cups
2/3 cup cider vinegar
2/3 cup prepared mustard
1/2 cup sugar
2 tablespoons chili powder
1 teaspoon white pepper
1 teaspoon black pepper
1/4 teaspoon red pepper
1/2 teaspoon hot sauce
2 tablespoons butter or margarine
1/2 teaspoon soy sauce
1/3 cup brown sugar or Maple Syrup
1 teaspoon worcestershire sauce
1 teaspoon of my Seasoned Salt (my recipe tastes similar to Webers or McCormicks)

Preparation

Stir together all ingredients except butter in a saucepan over medium heat; bring to a boil, reduce heat, and simmer 10 minutes.

Remove from heat, and stir in butter
