I finally finished the embroidery on the bodice. Now hopefully I can get the back room functional again so I can cut out and sew the rest of the dress!

The man headed out this morning for California and Thanksgiving with the kids. I couldn’t possibly face 14-15 hr of driving with the pain I’ve been in. I am really sad not to see everyone but I know they will have a great time without me, and the dogs and I will just relax and thank Him for the many blessings He has bestowed on us. I’m getting to that point where if anyone wants to see me, they will have to do the driving. It’s not likely to happen because everyone works, goes to school, etc and no one really has the time. Except for my dad, I’ve always been the one to make the effort but it’s too great a cost these days. I’m grateful for text, at least we can keep in touch. I was touched that Cody texted me to aak for recipes today. Silly how good that made me feel.
Hope you all have a spectacular day tomorrow and feel much love from friends and family!

:idunno sorry you missed seeing them BUT being home with the critters ain't so bad! I'm making no trips, home alone and it's pretty good. Raining lightly, so even chores are on hold. Enjoying a cuppa and the no stress solitude. Smile & hug the dogs...cuddle up & watch TV. 👍 Happy Thanksgiving.

I’m not sure the guy Randy asked to feed for us is doing it. I made it out to the rabbits at noon and their waters were frozen solid and no one had any hay and only some had pellets. I took care of them, then this evening went to check chickens (no food) Mister no food or water, and ducks…a tiny bit of water in their pool…pig never showed himself. It’s impossible to tell if they all ate and haven’t been fed yet tonight or if they just haven’t been fed. I filled waters and gave Mister a chunk of Sr and pray the guy shows up. I hurt like a bear from trying to screw the hose on to fill his water…

I saw him come in last night. He’s been feeding, just not checking waters. Glad I was able to make it out to Mister’s pen and fill his. The rabbits are next to house, theirs freezes solid so I had to knock it out of their rubber bowls and refill. TheMan made it home last night ❤️
