I have NO streaming -- not paying for it :old I do have a free channel that shows old movies. Sometimes they'll have a run of a series back to back of some old series. Lonesome Dove was on third Sunday. Watched a couple. But I don't watch enough TV to have those things going on. There are times it's "noise" in the room .... Good or bad 😁🤷. This TV doesn't play a movie disc.

I now wear shooting protection on my ears so I can read without having to try and shut out the TV.

I HATE the TV after being married to this man. In over 30 years we have not had a single conversation at home. He wakes up, turns it on, takes his shower, comes back to sit in front of it, it’s on until he goes to bed at 10-10:30 pm. I absolutely hate the thing. I wake up to hearing strangers in my house and it never ends :he

Sounds like my in-laws, TV on, LOUD, all day long.
:he

Since Ron passed away six months ago I've used the TV 3 times, to watch:
  • The Kentucky Derby
  • The Preakness Stakes
  • A DVD of the original Broadway production of The Pirates of Penzance.
I'm tempted to remove the flatscreen.
