Teresa and I both had eye exams back in March where I got a new prescription for eye glasses. I wasn't going to get them filled since they were the same as the glasses I got six years ago. I rarely wear them and they stay in a hard case so they still look new but I went ahead and ordered new glasses today and will have them as a spare.
I forgot to mention that I started PT for my neck this morning. I like the therapist and I was surprised at how much mobility I gained in an hour session. I have done body work for almost all of my life but I never had a lot of practice when I was younger, improving wore our body parts.
We worked the ewes Saturday and pulled fecals on several. We did the breakdown on them today and thankfully have no barber pole eggs but have one ewe with a load of coccidia so we will start treating all of them.
We had a good period of 60 or better MPH winds and have a couple of trees down on our driveway coming in. These were some of the Maples that we planted as saplings from our home in Charleston.
We had winds and rain yesterday, power was off for lots of people, but this time, it wasn’t me. Another storm came through last night and power was off, came back on at 4 AM.
Sorry about your trees. I hate losing trees. Did the storm leave you any of the trees y’all brought from Charleston?
How is your shoulder doing??? How about the gardens? Are you getting an overabundance of rain like some places??? We were so dry earlier... then it started and all through May... plus getting much cooler than normal... we have had something like 8 1/2 inches or so in May... nearly 3X what we get in a month... CRAZY...
My shoulder is coming along well although it still lets me know when I make a move that it doesn't like. We aren't doing much in the way of gardening this year other than a few tomato and pepper plants.
I have lost track of the rain but we have had more this year than any since we got our place. We haven't had a 90 degree day yet but that isn't something that I'll gripe about.
