Amazing! I did 5 alone in one afternoon once and thought it was SUCH a hard job. I'm terribly impressed.

edited to add : I turned on an audio book on my phone to keep me company and it was so hot that the phone shut down with a high temp warning.... NOT the best butchering conditions... at least THEY all got a nice long soak in the ice water cooler

Butchering is hardest part, IMO. Yesterday I had a call asking if I sold goats, had any available, price AND did I butcher for them. Well, no to butcher and no to them doing here. They wanted for BBQ -- not heard back and that's fine. Offered the phone number for butcher facility. Around my area goat meat isn't easily found at a butcher shop or grocery. Even whole hog pig pickin' is a hard find.

We're having a cool week. Dry but hovering at 70 and aver is 80. Ok with me . Found rear hydraulics on my tractor not working yesterday, which screwed up my fence plans. Hope I can get it resolved soon and without some big bill. Always something!

So windy out! Steady 15+ and gusts. . Load of laundry I did will go in dryer, DW going, a pot of milk heating for cheese and 8 trays of apples in dehydrator. Had to make the day positive. More to do once cheese is finished. My inside day

Darn! I forgot about that! Oh well, I’ve only got 3 chickens left to part out and process now. Had to stop for a bowl of cereal break. What’s for supper! NOT CHICKEN!

I put down weed fabric prior to planting, so it was very labor intensive to put each seedling in.

Yeah biut the labor intensive weeding won't be necessary. Pay a little now to save a lot later.

I got to drink coffee while Fen was busy catching and torturing flies. I know how they feel. I’ve been one of his victims.
I thought I might use him for spider control but then I remember when I screamed at a snake and my Golden Retriever caught and chased me all over the barn yard with it!

This dog is hilarious!

I slept like a rock, I sure needed it. I have no ambition for today.

Have to take DS to court this morning so up to do chores before. Prepped coffee last night, half asleep, and must have lost count of scoops. It was strong!!! Like wake the dead! So added water to drink it. I'll go to work later today. Scheduled store close to my house short day.

They say we may see mid 70s today. Would be nice.

Internet on phone keeps going in and out.
