Coffee anyone ?

Sometimes we have to swallow our pride...

Not that I would know, but when my watch told me it was 1 out, I decided I needed to see how my treadmill works. Still deciding which is more miserable, the boring treadmill or running in the bitter cold.
Had all of last week off, got mixed feelings about work today, but only 3 weeks until we get another two weeks off. Time to grind.

Tried warning him about needing gloves, he took it as a test to his manhood if he had to wear some. Now he has learned metal can cause instant frost burn/bite in sub zero temperatures as I got the text last night. Kept getting splinters, burning his hands on burning barrel and smashing a finger with his hammer, but it took one bite from frost bite to wake him up. Yep don't listen to me...
This guy is beyond stupid. I'm searching for a word that could describe the monumental amount of stupid, but that word does not exist. I hope he and his wife don't have any children and pass on his genes. That would be a travesty to the children.

1 degree. In February of 2021 it got to -6 in Lindale where we lived. I never experienced temps that low and could live out the rest of my life without repeating that.

@RR Homestead I'm sorry about the trailer roof. Obviously the manufacturer, whoever the top dog is, is a complete moron. Wow.

Y'all will get it all figured out on moving everything, animals included. It is a long distance and it will be hard work, but so worth it in the end. I pray that the closing goes smoothly and you can start carrying things to your new home.

For grins and giggles -
Here's the listing for the house by me (it should help increase the home values here - ummmmmmm wait - with fire insurance what it is, not a good idea)..
I actually like the house. I don't like the roof. It says composition, but I don't see traditional shingles. It looks more like some sort of membrane type, a roll out roof. I'm a fan of metal roof. I don't see any way to put a metal roof on there. No curtains, that is sorta creepy. I don;t care if it is on 40 acres, that's nothing for a zoom lens. 12x12 is small for a bedroom, wonder what the closets look like.

I slept late, stayed up to 1:30 binge watching Yellowstone to the last episode. I never got to see the last episode, only in bits and pieces. It is 39 here, that's cold to me! My new neighbors have been packing up all weekend, thought they would be here Saturday, still loading, then Sunday, had to go get a flatbed trailer to load heavy items that wouldn't go on the truck. Had a bolt in their tire, had to get that fixed. They are supposed to roll in today, son and I have been on standby to help them unload. @Ridgetop and her DH are coming today, spend the night and go home with Ozel. No consummation of their relationship. Better luck next time.

Good morning. Got a busy day today. Need to go to the county offices for my interview to get into the Master Food Preservers program here. Should be interesting - got an email on Saturday that I should give a 5 minute or less "teaching thing". Stewed on that for a bit. (that would make a good pun) -- finally landed on how to cut and slice an avocado. It was that or how to put a choke collar or slip lead on a dog .
Lots of other running around, so no fun grazing sheep.
Woke to 42 and going to 68, early winter here. Looking out this morning the fog bank rolls in -- get to see the top and bottom and the reflection of the sunrise (this is looking due west). Always fun to see.

Problem with custom build homes that are architecturally different is what is one envisions can be another ones nightmare. Most people prefer to live in a box as they can't think outside of a box. others see a simple home as good enough and some can't afford it.

Three below zero outside right now, I get to play on the house...yipee Maybe I can get the customer some frost bite, he is use to Seattle WA type weather, this is his first winter here.
He's from Seattle? That explains a lot...wetsider, there's something in the water over there. :gig
