Goats I own:
17 week old doeling 20lb (weaned)

13 week old wether 16lb (not totally weaned & almost finished banding)

7 week old female kid 8lb (bottle fed w/ hay a bit of grain)

The breeder I got two of my goats from (the older two) weaned the 17 week old around 10 weeks. The 13 week old was getting bottles 2xs a day but I got him down (over a few weeks) to 1oz bottle in the AM (for about a week or so).

Today I didn’t give him his 1oz, as I am attempting to wean him from his bottle.

Too early? Just right?

Just wondering about peoples thoughts on this.
The weaning should be fine timing wise.

I would be a bit worried that he will breed your doelings.....
